Dubai, UAE - Fever, the leading global live-entertainment discovery platform, brings the Candlelight Concerts for the first time ever to the UAE, with a series of special performances, kicking off with the famed Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker for two nights, from September 30th at the Queen Elizabeth II Theatre. This expansion to the region comes on the heels of the event’s success, having delighted audiences in various cities, including London, Sydney, Barcelona, Mexico, and Miami, to name a few.

This concert will see the Queen Elizabeth II Theatre illuminated by thousands of candles, allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves and discover the music of The Nutcracker and many more accompanied by ballet dancers.

Candlelight Concerts are a series of classical music concerts aimed at democratizing access to classical music by allowing people all over the world to enjoy live music candlelit performances performed by musicians in various stunning locations. When the concept initially launched in 2019, concerts focused on renowned composers such as Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, and Schubert. Now, the concerts include modern artists including Taylor Swift, Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, Ludovico Einaudi, Aretha Franklin, Adele, the Beatles, and Ed Sheeran. Furthermore, there are programmes dedicated to K-Pop, movie soundtracks, and many more. This Fever Original concept, which sold 3M tickets in 2021 alone, introduced classical music to a whole new audience, with 70% of attendees under 40.

Rachid Elameri, who recently joined Fever as General Manager for the Middle East, said, “Fever dares to think outside the box by empowering creators to escalate business ventures through data and technology - making entertainment offerings bigger than ever and more accessible in widespread communities. Fever’s ability to leverage data to democratize access to culture and entertainment, sets it apart and our original Candlelight Concerts focus on providing an exceptional platform for musicians to connect with people from all over the world and create new opportunities to do what they love”.

Fever continues its plans to increase its reach and position, helping the public discover the best experiences in their cities. With the Candlelight Concerts, the company strives to create events to cultivate the city's unique venues, celebrating the greatest composers and local musical talent, while contributing to making culture accessible to people who wouldn’t usually have access to classical music.

Fever constantly strives to inspire its users with innovative experiences, imagining and co-producing new ‘Fever Original’ ideas that will interest them. Beyond the Candlelight Concerts, some of these include Stranger Things: The Experience, Jurassic World: The Exhibition and Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience.
