Candlelight Concerts Arrive in Abu Dhabi

Fever brings the multi-sensory musical experience to the UAE’s capital 

Abu Dhabi, UAE - Candlelight Concerts, a Fever Original experience, brings its special performances for the first time to the UAE's capital, Abu Dhabi, with a series of breathtaking concerts, kicking off with the Best of Chopin at New York University, Abu Dhabi, on June 17th. The concert will see the venue illuminated by thousands of candles, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the adapted program fully.

Fever Original's Candlelight Concerts is renowned for creating unforgettable experiences, and guests can prepare to be transported to the enchanting world of Frédéric Chopin as the mesmerizing melodies of his greatest compositions come alive through the talented Aldo Dotto. The pianist will captivate audiences with his interpretation and special renditions of Chopin's masterpieces, including Nocturnes, Polonaise, Prélude, Fantaisie-Impromptu, Valse, and Scherzo.

Rachid Laurent El Ameri, the Regional General Manager of Fever in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, shared his excitement about bringing the magic of Candlelight Concerts to Abu Dhabi. Candlelight Concerts are a series of original music concerts created by Fever aimed at democratizing access to culture by allowing people worldwide to enjoy live music and candlelit performances played by local musicians in various stunning locations illuminated by thousands of candles.

Initially conceived as a classical music series with concerts featuring works from the greatest composers, such as Vivaldi, Mozart, and Chopin - now, the ever-growing list of programs includes various themes, genres, and tributes to contemporary artists like Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, as well as shows dedicated to K-Pop, movie soundtracks and many more. This multi-sensory experience has also evolved to feature different elements, such as ballet dancers or aerial performers, and other genres, such as jazz, soul, opera, flamenco, and more.

Candlelight Concerts strives to create events to cultivate the city's unique venues, celebrating the most significant composers and local musical talent while contributing to making culture accessible to people who wouldn't usually have access to classical music. Beyond the Candlelight Concerts, other Fever Original experiences include Murder Mystery: The Emerald House, Dining in the Dark, Stranger Things: The Experience, Jurassic World: The Exhibition and Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience.
