Dubai, UAE - After having delighted audiences worldwide, the Candlelight international concert series created by Fever is set to enchant Dubai once more. For the first time, the iconic Al Nojoom Ballroom in Shangri-La Dubai will host two enchanting concerts dedicated to Mozart's Masterpieces and the Tribute to Coldplay. Hosted at the iconic venue on Sunday, 8th September 2024, this event promises an evening of musical diversity, cultural brilliance, and enchantment.
With two sessions scheduled at 7 PM and 9 PM, guests can expect a soul-stirring musical journey performed by the talented pianist Aldo Dotto. The program includes classical and modern masterpieces, such as "Symphony 40, 1st mvt" and "Piano concerto no. 23 Adagio" by Mozart, along with "Fix You" and "A Sky Full of Stars" by Coldplay, and more.
Furthermore, as the "cherry on top", Candlelight ticket holders can enjoy a 25% discount on a la carte menus, including drinks, at Shangri-La Dubai’s esteemed MICHELIN dining venues such as Shang Palace, Hoi An, Dunes Cafe, and Balcony Bar, on the day of the concert.
Candlelight Concerts are a series of original music concerts created by Fever, which aim to democratize access to classical music. This innovative format provides a truly unique live musical experience, offering a variety of programs to meet all tastes, played by local musicians in emblematic venues, with the performance spaces and performers illuminated by thousands of candles.
Candlelight was initially conceived as a classical music series with concerts featuring works by renowned composers, such as Vivaldi, Mozart, and Chopin. Now, the ever-growing list of programs includes a wide variety of themes and genres, including tributes to contemporary artists like Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, as well as shows dedicated to anime, movie soundtracks and many more. The multi-sensory experience has also evolved to feature new and unique elements, such as ballet dancers or aerial performers, as well as branching out into other musical genres, such as jazz, soul, opera, flamenco and more.
