Fans of the global phenomenon Netflix series Stranger Things will get a chance to unlock their powers and help Eleven save Hawkins
London, May 5 - The year is 1986. The town is Hawkins. But the location is London. Netflix and experience discovery platform Fever are teaming up to deliver a new immersive experience in London this summer, throwing fans into a world of supernatural mystery, enduring friendships, and 80s nostalgia in an atmospheric celebration of the Stranger Things universe.
Inspired by the runaway success of the first official Stranger Things Stores that brought the “upside down” to New York City and L.A. in 2021 Netflix and Fever are giving Londoners a groundbreaking, in-person live multimedia experience with the all new Stranger Things: The Experience. The already-announced New York and San Francisco experiences open in May and June and have seen record demand for tickets.
Co-produced by Netflix and Fever, this immersive adventure takes fans through a new story developed with the series creators, featuring some of the show’s most memorable settings and favourite characters. Afterwards, guests can explore Mix-Tape, an F&B and retail hub filled with favorite photo-op moments.
The announcement comes ahead of the highly anticipated season 4 of Stranger Things. Volume 1 premieres on May 27 followed by Volume 2 on July 1, available on Netflix.

The experience, which opens this summer, launches guests on a perilous adventure through the darker side of Hawkins, including the infamous Hawkins Lab and the Upside Down. This brand new storyline, developed exclusively with the show’s creators, propels guests into a parallel universe where they must run the gauntlet of terrors lurking in the dark and unlock their secret powers to help save the town.
After their escape from the Upside Down, fans will be free to explore Mix-Tape, where they can meet real-life characters from the Stranger Things world, grab a USS Butterscotch sundae at Scoops Ahoy, attempt to knock off MADMAX’s high score at the Palace Arcade, try a unique cocktail at the first ever Stranger Things themed bar, chat up the friendly cashier at Family Video, snatch up exclusive merchandise and even get up close and personal with a Demogorgon.
“We know our Stranger Things fans will embrace the chance to be the heroes of the story, working alongside Eleven, Mike and the rest of the gang to fight the evil threatening to consume Hawkins.” says Greg Lombardo, Head of Experiences at Netflix. “Fans love losing themselves in the world when they watch the show. Now, for the first time, they will be able to live out an episode from the series in real life.”
Fans can expect mind-blowing audiovisual effects but are warned that they will also have to face up to their fears as things can quickly turn uʍop ǝpᴉsdn. The immersive multimedia experience lasts for 45 minutes + unlimited time at Mix-Tape, a collection of Stranger Things greatest hits. Tickets are limited and prices will start at £39, with group bundles and VIP tickets available.
Tickets: Will be available at www.strangerthings-experience.com on Thursday May 12. Fans can sign up now for the waitlist to receive early information on ticket availability by city, and can follow @strangerthings.experience for more.
