November, 2022 – Fever’s popular classical music series, Candlelight, brings some special concerts to Manchester for the holiday season. Halle St Peter's, Edgar Wood Victoria Park, Manchester Cathedral, The Stoller Hall and for the first time, the Contact Theatre, will be home to different programmes for this multi-sensory musical experience.
Candlelight Concerts are a series of classical music concerts created by Fever aimed at democratizing access to classical music by allowing people all over the world to enjoy live music candlelit performances played by local musicians in various stunning locations.
On November 26th, Contact Theatre will debut its first Candlelight Concert with a special program featuring Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and more accompanied by two ballerinas. On December 13th and 21st, The Stoller Hall will host songs from holiday favourite movies including Love Actually, Home Alone and more played by a string quartet in two sessions each date. During the holiday season, there will also be a number of Candlelight tributes to Amy Winehouse, Oasis, Beyoncé, and Fleetwood Mac.
Ticket prices start from £15 for adults, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
