This holiday season, Candlelight®, the globally acclaimed series of live concerts presented by Live Your City, will transform two of Mumbai’s most iconic venues with thousands of flickering candles to host unforgettable performances under the banner Candlelight: Christmas Classics.
At the heritage Afghan Church in Colaba on 5 December, and later at the majestic The Royal Opera House Mumbai on 25 December, audiences will be treated to a memorable evening of classic Christmas carols and timeless holiday melodies, performed by a talented local string quartet in an atmosphere unlike any other.
While Mumbai sets the stage for these enchanting evenings, the Christmas Candlelight series will also light up other cities across India, inviting audiences nationwide to celebrate the festive spirit through music and candlelight. Candlelight® was created with the aim of making music more accessible by bringing it to unique venues beyond traditional concert halls, offering audiences a visually stunning and intimate experience.
