Fever Originals continues with its goal of democratizing access to leisure experiences, in this case through Gastronomy
San Diego, July 19 - Fever, leading global live-entertainment discovery platform, invites San Diego residents to a unique Dining in the Dark experience at The Abbey that promises to elevate your meal to the next level, by eliminating one of your senses, namely, your eyesight.
An incredibly sensory 3-course dining experience, but without one of our most important senses. Eminent psychologists have been advocating blind dining as the ultimate taste experience for many years. Studies show that 80 percent of people eat with their eyes; with that sense eliminated, the theory is that the other senses - mainly taste and smell- become the protagonists of the meal.
San Diego residents will have the opportunity to embark in this new culinary experience that lasts 90 minutes and is specifically designed to tantalize their taste buds. They will be invited to choose between Green (Vegan), Red (Meat) or Blue (Seafood) menus and let themselves be carried away by the delightful tastes to guess the dishes.
The Abbey is hosting this unique Dining in the Dark experience. The extraordinary venue is a historic San Diego landmark, and formerly functioned as an iconic church dating back to 1910. Ironically, guests will not be able to enjoy the interior of The Abbey while relishing in this blind culinary experience. Various dates are available on Fever’s marketplace.
