Following the success of its performances globally, the tango show will make its way to Chicago starting July
Chicago, May 29, 2024 – An evening in Buenos Aires without leaving Chicago. This is We Call it Tango’s promise, an immersive show that will captivate audiences and take them on a journey through the passionate and seductive world of Tango. Following the sold-out shows that took place in Milan this year, the show will arrive in Chicago starting July.
Created by Fever, the leading global live-entertainment discovery platform, the show brings to the forefront Tango’s rich heritage, the Argentinian art form that seamlessly weaves together the undisputed sound of the bandoneon and the emblematic dance of the River Plate’s shores. During the one-hour performance, the audience will experience the unfiltered expression of its passion and emotion.
We Call It Tango offers a fresh and contemporary take on the classic art form bringing together world-class dancers and musicians to create an experience that celebrates Argentina’s capital cultural heritage. From the dancer’s sensual movements to the evocative melodies of the undisputed bandoneon, every aspect of the production is designed to transport audiences into a world where passion and desire reign supreme.
In line with Fever's commitment to democratizing access to culture, this unique experience offers an opportunity for audiences of all backgrounds to revel in the magic of tango. Just as Fever's Candlelight Concerts have captivated audiences worldwide, We Call It Tango seeks to make cultural enrichment accessible and inclusive for all.
We Call It Tango will take place at the Arts Center of Oak Park in Chicago on July 13 and August 10. Tickets are available now and can be purchased through the Fever app or website.
