Sofitel is partnering with Candlelight for the second consecutive year to ignite the merriment of the festive season with the dazzling return of unique concerts within its hotels. From December to January, selected Sofitel flagships will play host to a series of eight concerts, charming guests with a spellbinding musical experience bathed in the warm glow of a thousand flickering candles.

A unique musical experience

Two sessions of Candlelight concerts will take place at each of Sofitel Marseille Vieux-Port (France), Sofitel Mexico City Reforma (Mexico), Sofitel Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa (UAE) and Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills (USA), elevating Sofitel’s signature Candle Ritual into sophisticated musical celebrations.

The concerts will pay homage to the famous Sofitel’s French Zest, featuring some of the most emblematic French compositions. Alors on Danse, La Vie en Rose, Nightcall... timeless melodies now revisited in a fresh and exciting programme curated by Candlelight x Sofitel.

Led by a local talented string quartet, the performance will sweep guests into a spectacular musical journey while being immersed in the stunning architecture of an iconic Sofitel hotel, all accentuated by the alluring ambiance of candlelight.

An enchanting candlelit dinner

Sofitel takes the musical experience a step further, offering guests a festive dinner served in enchanting candlelight right before or after their concert. The pairing of music and gastronomic menu will transport guests to a place of enchantment and celebration. There is nothing quite like sitting at a beautiful dining table and making memories with loved ones in the glowing candlelight.

An homage to Sofitel’s French Heritage

Honoring its French heritage, Sofitel takes inspiration from Paris “The City of Lights” which pioneered night-time illumination in the 1860s when its streets were lit for the first time with over 56,000 gas lamps. Creating sparkling scenes that were nothing short of magical, Sofitel is proud to capture this very Parisian spirit through stunning Candle Rituals all year long. As soon as night falls, every Sofitel hotel across the world performs a ceremony unlike any other.
