SENSAS Partners with Special Olympics Texas to Champion Unified and Disability Awareness Through Multi-Sensory Experience in Dallas
Dallas, Texas -- SENSAS, the globally celebrated multi-sensory adventure, presented by Fever, the world’s leading tech platform for discovering culture and live entertainment, has teamed up with Special Olympics Texas to advance its purpose-driven mission of fostering inclusion, empathy, and greater awareness of the disability experience.
SENSAS is proud to announce its collaboration with Special Olympics Texas, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports, education, and community. Together, the two organizations aim to create deeper connections across Dallas schools and families, offering an experience that not only entertains but also educates guests on what it might feel like to live with a disability.
"Special Olympics Texas is proud to collaborate with SENSAS and we look forward to working together to empower athletes and create more opportunities for people with disabilities. During the SENSAS experience, customers get a glimpse into what many Special Olympics Texas athletes face on a daily basis and how they must adapt. We look forward to working with SENSAS to continue celebrating our athletes and championing a more Unified lifestyle." - Gretchen Reeves, Special Olympics Texas Associate Executive Director – North Region
From navigating mazes by touch, to testing reflexes in a laser obstacle course, participants are encouraged to adapt, discover resilience, and gain new perspective when traditional senses are restricted. The partnership will feature community engagement initiatives and educational opportunities designed to highlight the importance of inclusion, while reinforcing the values that both SENSAS and Special Olympics share: empowerment, compassion, and celebration of human potential.
