Fever to host free Candlelight Concerts in Melbourne's Prahran Square this month

Featuring A tribute to Aretha Franklin and other jazz greats performed by Luminosity Trio, and Feature Works from Movie Soundtracks performed by Invictus Quartet and Eclective Strings.

Experience a stunning, breathtaking, and multi-sensory experience this March as the critically acclaimed Candlelight Concerts comes to Prahran Square for two free live and intimate concerts.

Attendees will be captivated as the award-winning urban parkland at Prahran Square is illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight under the stars and treated to exceptional live performances, showcasing inspiring repertoires from jazz greats and renowned movie soundtrack composers.

Falling on Aretha Franklin’s birthday, the first Candlelight Concert at Prahran Square on Saturday 25 March, will feature a tribute to Aretha Franklin and other jazz greats. Be mesmerised by this timely and heart-warming performance with spectacular renditions of Aretha Franklin's most popular songs, performed by the Luminosity Trio (Elly Poletti, Cheryl Durongpisitkul and Joe McEvilly).

The second and final Candlelight Concert on Sunday 26 March will feature works from highly renowned movie soundtrack composers—Hans Zimmer, Joe Hisaishi, and John Williams—performed by the Invictus Quartet (Rebecca Wang, Nyssa Sanguansri, Jin Tong Long and Annika Cho), and Eclective Strings.

Open to all ages, whether on your own or with friends or family, the debut Candlelight Concerts Series at Prahran Square will present an unforgettable experience for all to enjoy.
