Melbourne | April 2026 – After captivating over 2 million visitors across Europe, the U.K, and a standout Australian debut in Brisbane in mid-2025, EONARIUM Enlightenment - an immersive audiovisual experience - is set to dazzle audiences at Melbourne’s iconic Immigration Museum for a limited run beginning in April.
Tickets are now on sale on https://eonariumexperiences.com/melbourne/.
EONARIUM Enlightenment is the brainchild of Zurich-based artist collective PROJEKTIL and comes alive in Melbourne through collaboration with the leading entertainment platform Fever. The experience transforms the Immigration Museum into a captivating feast for the senses with vibrant light projections, stunning visuals and alluring soundscapes, accompanied by the iconic melodies of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. PROJEKTIL has revitalised Vivaldi’s original compositions by rearranging and recording them specifically to enhance the immersive experience, blending classical elements with a contemporary touch.
The 30-minute installation is divided into scenes, each designed to be enjoyed while lounging on comfortable cushioned chairs and bean bags, allowing guests to gaze up at the projections adorning every corner of the ceiling and walls. They can expect to be enveloped by spring, summer, autumn and winter like never before.
Guests will experience and encounter the natural world not just as scenery, but as sacred gifts — stirring awe, gratitude, and a renewed call to care for our common home. It’s a fascinating experience that can be enjoyed by children, adults, friends and families alike.
Situated in the heart of Melbourne’s historic Flinders Street precinct, the Immigration Museum is one of the city’s most distinctive cultural landmarks. Housed within the beautifully restored Old Customs House, the building blends grand 19th-century architecture with contemporary exhibition spaces, creating a setting that is both historic and dynamic.
Its spacious interior halls, elegant colonnades, and striking central courtyard provide a unique atmosphere for cultural experiences, exhibitions, performances, and special events. The museum’s architecture offers a remarkable backdrop where heritage and creativity come together.
Using state-of-the-art video mapping technology, the show creates a completely immersive environment, melding imagery with the sounds of classical music to fully engage and mesmerise the senses. Ticket prices start from $20 for children and $29 for adults, and can be purchased on the Fever app or website..
