The Spot Experience: Dine at the Oakes Garden Theatre in Niagara Falls, a Canadian first, brings intimate candlelit dinners to unusual, of limited access or emblematic places of a city, and it is now arriving in Niagara Falls, at the Oakes Garden Theatre, which is opening its doors exclusively for this luxurious culinary and social event.
On July 22, for the first time, Niagara Falls residents and people from all over the world, can experience the thrill of dining in an unusual place, combining the most exquisite 4 hors d’oeuvres and 4-course meal, with social interactions with the other guests - a dining experience as impressive as the Niagara Falls. During the 4-course dinner, guests can wonder at the breathtaking location, followed by an intimate Candlelight Concert.
The venue of this experience speaks for itself. This spectacular garden is the entranceway to Queen Victoria Park, the key central area of Niagara Parks, that showcases the Falls. The magnificent curved pergola of the Oakes Garden Theatre, constructed in 1936, overlooks the central amphitheatre and a beautiful landscape: rock gardens, lily ponds and shrub borders have been created around formal gardens, with attractive ornamental iron gates and Queenston limestone around the perimeter. This surprising garden provides visitors with a feeling of fantasy and escape. The theatre has been used for band and choir concerts, corporate receptions, movie screenings and live broadcasts of internationally televised programs. A unique venue overlooking Niagara Falls where guests will also enjoy an intimate Candlelight Concert: live music candlelit performances played by local musicians illuminated by thousands of candles.
The Spot Experience brings grand banquets to unusual venues, but this concept doesn’t leave out the social aspect of eating.
