Fever partners with Paramount+ to launch immersive event ‘Dexter: The Experience’ as part of new series campaign

Free four-day London event to promote Dexter: Resurrection drew over 1,300 public attendees, sold out in under five minutes and generated over 20,000 waitlist sign-ups

Fever, the leading global live entertainment discovery platform, partnered with Paramount+ to deliver Dexter: The Experience—a free, four-day immersive activation held earlier this July in the heart of London. Designed to build buzz ahead of the Dexter: Resurrection premiere, the experience drew over 1,300 attendees and generated more than 20,000 waitlist sign-ups, with tickets selling out in under five minutes. Lucky fans, press, and content creators were pulled into the world of Dexter Morgan through theatrical set design and interactive storytelling—all narrated by Dexter star Michael C. Hall.

From 10–13 July, guests were taken on a journey through a labyrinth of rooms, where they became dark passengers guided by Dexter Morgan himself. As they moved deeper into the experience, they followed his code while navigating a series of interactive challenges that blurred reality with memory, from analysing blood spatter at Miami Metro Forensics to escaping the Empire Hotel from the new series. After experiencing a fictional slice of life as Dexter—from his earliest memory to his first kill and every grisly milestone in between—, passengers had the chance to wind down with personalised cocktails at the Cuban-themed bar. The full experience earned an average guest rating of 9.5 out of 10.

The project was a collaboration between the International Marketing team at Paramount+, Fever’s Brand Partnerships team and the Creative Studio, the company’s in-house collective of award-winning, multi-disciplinary creative directors dedicated to elevating the storytelling behind Fever Originals—such as Candlelight, The Jazz Room and The Jury Experience. 

Ari Avishay, SVP International Content Marketing at Paramount+, liaised with Fever and the show’s executive producers, including Michael C Hall who plays Dexter and the show’s creators, Clyde Phillips & Scott Reynolds, to bring iconic moments from the series to Dexter: The Experience. 

Creative Directors Katrina Felice and Anderson Lawfer delivered the creative vision, faithfully recreating unforgettable scenes from the series to blur the line between fiction and reality. To bring the vision to life on the ground, The Experience Agency was brought on board, executing the Creative Studio’s immersive concept with precision and impact.

The campaign also leveraged the ultra-shareable online guide Secret London, part of the Secret Media Network and Fever’s official media partner. The high-quality content and coverage throughout the experience amplified reach and engagement among their trusted audience.
