Candlelight® expands across South Africa and presents The Lord of the Rings in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences

Fever’s internationally acclaimed Candlelight® concert series continues its rapid expansion across South Africa, announcing a significant rollout into new cities while reinforcing its commitment to democratize the access to classical music. 

Following its success in major hubs such as Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Pretoria, among other cities, where concerts continue to run regularly, Candlelight® is now bringing its signature live, candlelit experience to new audiences in Richards Bay, Vereeniging, eMalahleni, and St. George.

This expansion reflects growing demand for accessible, immersive live music experiences across the country, combining classical masterpieces with contemporary tributes in unique and intimate venues.

Audiences in the newly announced locations will enjoy a wide range of programs, including The Best of Hans Zimmer, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and tributes to globally renowned artists such as Coldplay, Taylor Swift, and Queen, as well as Long Live the Rock Legends. Concerts will take place across iconic local venues, including Imvubu Lodge (Richards Bay), Suitability Gardens (Vereeniging), playTSOGO Globe at The Ridge (eMalahleni), and Fancourt (George).

Alongside its geographic growth, Candlelight® continues to collaborate with leading players in the entertainment industry to develop new, officially inspired programs based on globally recognized intellectual properties.

As part of this strategy, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever present Candlelight®: The Lord of the Rings, an international concert series celebrating the 25th anniversary of the beloved film franchise in 2026. Johannesburg is among the select cities worldwide chosen to host this special series, with limited tickets available.
