In an extraordinary cultural milestone, Live Your City’s Candlelight Concerts, the global phenomenon that has mesmerized audiences across 150+ cities worldwide, is set to make its grand debut in Chennai. The spectacular series launches on November 15th, 2024, at the prestigious Museum Theatre, transforming into a haven of musical brilliance. The inaugural performance features the enchanting ‘Best Movie Soundtracks’ program, where thousands of flickering candles will create an atmosphere for an unforgettable evening of cinematic musical masterpieces.

Expertly curated program that speaks to both classical purists and contemporary music enthusiasts. The series continues its journey with two captivating concerts in December bringing the magnificent ‘Tribute to Coldplay,’ where the band's anthemic hits will be reimagined through stunning classical arrangements, and ‘Mozart to Chopin,’ a sublime journey through classical masterpieces. They continue to spread the immersive experience in January and February 2025 with their best sellers. Each concert promises an innovative fusion of musical traditions, featuring carefully selected local virtuosos performing alongside traditional Indian instruments like the sarangi and tabla, creating a unique bridge between Eastern and Western musical heritage. This pioneering series, brought to Chennai by Live Your City, a division of Fever Labs Inc., represents a new chapter in the city's rich cultural narrative.

Candlelight Concerts have revolutionized the classical music landscape by making exceptional live performances accessible to all while maintaining the highest standards of artistic excellence. The ‘Best Movie Soundtracks’ program gives the audience the melodic beauty of ‘Srivalli’ (Devi Sri Prasad), the soulful ‘Samajavaragamana’ (SS Thaman), the romantic essence of ‘Inkem Inkem Inkem Kaavaale’ (Gopi Sundar), and the timeless ‘Vaseegara’ (Harris Jayaraj) alongside global favourites. Simultaneously, tributes to legendary artists like The Beatles, Queen, and ABBA to contemporary sensations like Ed Sheeran, each performance is meticulously designed to create an unforgettable experience. As Chennai becomes the latest jewel in the Candlelight Concerts crown, audiences can expect an extraordinary celebration of music that honours both global excellence and local artistic traditions.
