The beloved enchanted forest journey inspired by the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ films return with new characters and magical interactive spells
New York, New York [September 17, 2026] -- Warner Bros. Discovery Global Entertainment and Fever, the leading global live-entertainment discovery platform today announced that Harry Potter™: A Forbidden Forest Experience will return to Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights beginning Wednesday, October 16. Following a successful run in 2022, the experience will once again invite guests to celebrate some of the most iconic forest scenes from the beloved series in a nighttime woodland trail. This year, the experience introduces new magical moments inspired by the Harry Potter™ and Fantastic Beasts™ films, including a new chronological journey, interactive moments, and spell-casting experiences.
Designed to delight witches, wizards and Muggles of all ages, Harry Potter™: A Forbidden Forest Experience gives fans the opportunity to venture into an illuminated forest. Taking place in the scenic wooded grounds of Westchester’s Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park guests will come face-to-face with some of the wizarding world’s most iconic magical creatures including unicorns, Nifflers and Hippogriffs. The interactive experience also gives guests the opportunity to cast spells to illuminate the dark forest and try their hand at conjuring a Patronus.
The experience has captivated audiences around the globe, welcoming more than three million visitors across major markets including the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Australia, and Singapore. It has become a favorite among Harry Potter fans and families alike. In addition to the illuminated wooded trail, guests can also enjoy a themed village featuring curated food and beverage options for purchase as well as an onsite retail store.
